  2. Old birds out most of day they had a bath early on then let them have a day playing about,went to young bird sale in the afternoon,old birds out again kept going with four Buzzards flying above the loft.Didn't get youngens out ,next door doing a few alterations all sorted now.

  8. I asume they are very young and just starting to perch,if so just leave them and they'll soon decide that the top perches are the safest and make for them. A little theory of mine whether right or wrong is that certain pigeons take certain perches,number your perches and keep a record of which bird roost where,do the same next season and see if the same number perches are your best youngens.

  12. I you've got to use It ,It's safe while feeding young birds not only that if the old birds have cocci so will the young. Lindsay

My old man would have bounced me off every wall in the house training on race days,same letting youngens out and on Sunday morning no youngens out early incase there's any strays making their way back home.   16. We have the same fools running our Federation,they made a rule that the birds haven't to be in the County till 1pm. This I believe is because a certain few work Saturday morning.It didn't help me when I was on three shifts.

  21. Hi Mav,you buy more rings because you loose the birds that have the original rings on. On another note race rubbers are going the same way £32/1000 ,in a big club you'll soon go through them.
