Sorry can't help you on this one Andy,always flew natural,threatened to go roundabout last season but threw the towel in before I started breeding.A problem when your on your own is no one at the loft when birds arrive home from training and twice as much training hens/cocks.

Stand in the middle of the loft,hold the bird in your hands in front of you and let it drop , if it hits the floor with a thud it's well over weight,if it make's it to a perch but noisy while doing so it's heavy,if it makes it to a perch and you don't hear it flying there ,that will do for me.
