Had a good first season only started with young birds, well i sent to a couple of the comeback races with o/bs just to get used to using the stb clock the club had lent me for the season but finished up with; 2x1st club 1x2nd club 1x3rd club 1x4th club 1x5th club 1x6th club 2x7th club 1x1st combine 3021 birds 1x48th combine 2355 birds Obviously the high light was my 1st combine, I was in the garden watching for the birds when my herman ceuster dropped over my house roof and onto the landing board looked up then went straight in, i shot through the door of the loft picked her up and took the rubber ring off and clocked her in and as i was coming out and closing the door a batch of around 50 pigeons flew over so i thought i could have a good one here, it wasnt until the next morning i knew how good when i got a phone call off the club sec telling me i had won the combine. That feeling will stay with me forever, cannot wait for next season to get going again. all the best everyone, Pete.

Hi, a guy in my club works and races for premier and i am finding it very hard to beat him. He is getting at leat the first 6 in club every week, it gets a bit disheartening but will keep trying. Check out the yorkshire middle route web site at ymrcpigeons.co.uk and download a few results you will see patrington haven all over the top 100. Hope this helps.

Hi ymrc website is saying possible 24hr delay in basketing for this weeks huntingdon race,, just to let people know. there web site and lib line will be updated at 0930 friday morning.

How much and how often do other members feed their y/bs in the week upto racing, Thanks.

sent 10 to chelmsford 138 miles to me with yorkshire middle route.

one of my y/bs was missing for 3 weeks like yours she looked and felt ok so i put her in the next race 6 days later and she topped the fed,over 3000 birds, so worth a second chance imo.

Withernsea d.h.s 5 members sent 110 birds to Huntingdon approx 95 miles.

11/11 yorkshire middle route, only from sleaford again due to transporter break down, 52 miles to me had first on 50 minutes. :D got first club on 1873.01

cheers kirky, it was a y/b out of one of the birds you gave me last year to get me started,she was in the ymr any age race from sleaford last saturday, was quite foggy here most of the day, so not surprised she over shot, but i got 6th club with another y/b out of one of yours. cheers.

I would like to thank the guy from scarborough who brought one of my y/bs down to brandesburton and released it yesterday, she made it home fine and in good condition. I dont know if he is on here but i know some people on here are from scarborough, i would of liked to thank him personally but i never got a name or number. Cheers.

huntingdon this week 95 miles to me then next week is bourges and an any bird race from sleaford then the final week is ypres.
