  3. yip one leg sticks straight out like a hand signal ive tried a few times to cure it by tying ribbon or string on to both legs to see if it would set straight but it never worked as peter said theres no cure because they nearly always splay from the hip joint better to dispose of it brian and let them go back to nest

  9. must say its never bothered me that its cold as long as not going to far in the past few years been training latebreds november december january with ice and an odd time snow on the ground with no problems with my loft open halfway up there used to the cold steven no molly codling here i need to do my work in cold or rain they need to do the same but thats just the yearling like dell my old bird team will not start till 3rd or 4th race with only 3or4 tosses but they will get open bowl most of the day till then

  11. had two short ones with some latebreds steven but birds been flying one to two hours everyday all winter might just wait on the training van starting for safety just paired the old birds last weekend and the yearlings are still not paired see if i can get a wee jig out them in the early races before i have to pair them to get room for youngbirds can only try m8

  19. id just switch the youngsters around for an hour or two each day till the feeders have soft feeding

  21. would not expect them to have soft feeding for them sue three days out is the max for me a day or two more if the feeders are sitting over due if you can switch them about the nests for a few days to get a feed you may save some
