mines are on 1 25 kilo bag of barley 5 50 1 25 kilo bag wheat 7 50 1 bag rearing pellets 20 kilo 9 50 and 1 bag tk conditioner 13 50 all mixed togethere 140 kilo for 36 pounds and the birds are looking great on it and a wee bit of clo on it seems to be all the need just now

as long as fanciers keep thinking it costs a fortune so it must be better hype we are going to keep getting ripped off clubs need to get together and buy in bulk from the cheapest source as long as its good clean dry grain it makes no difference and if we dont buy it they will have to drop there price imo and if your buying in bulk dont be afraid to ask for more discount they want your money make them work for it

well done to them blaz where are they judging next m8 lol but i still think its more luck than skill bad pigeons can handle nice to unfotunately but nice to see good birds getting picked most of my winners are ugly f k s

its a bit messay blaz m8 but it works and youve allwaysgot some in the house

dont think id want to be feeding them bill unless the guy sits the dog meat in the pigeons bath in 2 inch of water round it and drown them

put a line of salt along the front of the loft or where ever there coming in it will kill them m8 and they will not cross it

sorry to hear this gareth was telling vince hendry id been seeing them dead on the dual carrgeway from canderside toll to hamilton cut off about 5 of them this year vince has had them in killing birds a few times jim shaw was allmost wiped out last year think the mink killed 43 birds of jims with vince it was climbing up the back of the loft and in the 2 inch gap under the roof hes caught 2 that i know of might be able to give you some ideas m8 get that good hen of yours in a steel cage at night these f k s can get in any where and it will be back they dont forget where they can get a feed get something knocked up just now to keep the rest safe till you get it gareth maybe next week maybe next month but it will be back take care

while we are talking shows i used to take my birds to lots of shows years ago but was never very successfull the reason for this was i always took my winners not my best lookers or best handeler because i thought any novice knows what nice looking bird looks like or nice handler feels like and there are not many winners that look good and handle well enough to win a show what i wanted to learn was if there were judges that could pick out birds that have won races or can win races and im afraid the answer to that is no they cant so to me a show is nothing more than a day out and a bit of fun and just the guys opinion on what looks nice or handels nice and not to be taken to serious as it means nothing so this year im going to take a few of what i think are lookers and handelers to see if i can win some for a change and just enjoy the day out and the blether

i agree with everything owen has said i think baytril is playing with fire imo

for me its blood lines winners both sides of the ped or the winning bird or even better the birds that breed the winners also if the fancier sits in a poor location in his club fed or section even better there was a partnership in my area few years ago that were cleaning up in the fed every week one of the partners heard i was spending big money at louella and asked why i did not come to them when they packed in simple i said your birds were no good to me as you guys were training 3 and 4 times a day and flagging them 3 or 4 times in between tosses im on my own and working ive not got the time to put that amount of work into them my birds have to suit my methods or i am not going to get the best from them they have to be able to win the way you work them or your wasting your time imo true m8
