  5. I'll stick to the same theory as you mick, birds aren't getting a chance, theyr'e been chased all over the sky , many never to make home pigeon game's turning into a lottery,out own birds are now locked up been attacked on a daily bases, the future doesn't look good.

After 11 attacks on old birds at the loft,this year so far, today the Percy's were at the yb's at 1300 hrs 3 missing 1 injured running out of ideas were infested with these fecking things, it's time the law changed and we had the right to protect,the same as the farmers have. The doo game not going to survive if something doesn't change ?

  11. The bigger the batch returning, the longer they fly at the loft and that's what I don't wan't , always had bother at the loft but this year has been the worst ever.

Had nine peregrine attacks at loft in the last month,can't let birds out, tried just training them in small groups, first group always get home but the other's are scattered everywhere and taking all day to return .It's as if they are just waiting on birds returning 5 birds lost & 4 birds injured.Running out of idea's.opinions please.
  13. Too many fanciers waiting on someone else doing it ,that's why the games f -cked locally I'm doing my bit but don't know of many others act now before it's too late' this problem's not going away unless fanciers get af there arses and do something about it.
  14. Tossed hen's yesterday at 5 Miles, at 10.30 they were coming all day last one home at 19.00 with four tail flights missing . 2 still missing. Let cocks out tonight at 17.30 at 17.40 peregrine at them birds scattered everywhere,head count 3 missing it doesn't matter what you do,after 40 years of racing think this could be the end.
  15. when will we ever learn too many birds going down, because we are starting too early , Look after them all winter and throw them away , guys give them a chance there's all season to lose them but to lose them early April ? Think about it . First Sat may time enough to start.

My dad purchased Billy's hen the next season with a view to race her , broke her ok first race Penrith she was lost for a month tried her again at Lancaster where she took two weeks to return, she was then put to stock and bred pigeons to score Red pied cock 1st Lockerbie 1st Stafford 1st club 9th open midland fed Dorchester 1988 , cheq hen 1st club 3rd fed Lancaster 1st club 5th fed 27th open scc sartilly 1985 also scoring fed Worcester open Dorchester open. Billy's hen originated from Linden&shaw Greengairs.
