  1. So basically .*expletive removed* them we will clean them out theyl only be a few in the sky's by that point. Can't belive what I'm actually reading after the chaos that's been caused in north east in recent weeks with dodgie liberations.
  2. All birds libbed at Berwick this morning all cleared well to the north with the wind up there backside. Hopefuly be home by now.

Anyone have any details? Lots of views.
  11. Blue cock was hungry when it dropped in but in good condition. Came in last week on morning I was going to sweden so dint get chance to post up on here as I was going to airport from lofts
  12. Ybs stopped moulting hard and weather is getting touch and go. Good job, last race seen full Amal have less than 50% returns :(

  13. Got the birds onto transporter, hopefully home safe and sound. Seen the birds from lib come over our loft were really going for it right up in a clear blue sky.
  14. CONSETT=
  15. No probe mate will get it up there, any idea what times limbs are due to start? Greg
  16. All three dropped in yesterday and today loads of strays about. Two of them are flown out blue hen is a darkness bird should be ok. Putting a yearling on transporter on Saturday for a lad up Stirling. If any of theses birds Feds are down or someone willing to get them when there back up could get them a little closer to home.

    Happy

Well done Scott not been the best start to ybs for a lot of people. 1st race was a killer for us.
  18. Sounds like only one thing, you've done the right thing. Just keep an eye on the rest. I'm sure someone more in the know will beable to help more. I do believe the vaccination is preventative and lowers the risk but doesn't make birds immune.
  19. Blue hen has phone number on but can't make ou digits code is for Scotland
  20. I've got 3 fantails hens in with young birds so there bought up with them. If anything the fantails take a battering off the yb's. The ybs often make a be line to have a bit dig at them. I wouldn't let them out today Scott with the fog we've got. Just feed em barley till first couple go fo a drink and take corn away. Are you shaking tin and calling at them when there feeding so they know when that tin shakes its feeding time?
  21. Keep the feed light Scott as has been said get pleanty barley in there. Best way to feed to keep it simple for now 50% barley 50% yb mix fill feeder up get them in and watch them eat soon as 2 birds go to drinker take food off them. Another thing feeding a lot of barley you can trap with seed or peanuts as the birds love it so they will be even more eager to trap. It's like having porridge every meal, when your mam shouts you in for tea your not to fussed, but when she's got the chocolate cake out and shouts your there in a flash P.s your not flagging them are you? And do you have a flapper ?

    Liberated?

Seen both batches there was a huge batch came over about 2:30 and they were going this way and that as if they couldn't make there minds up which way to hed. They were herding north but zig zagging a lot and would turn south trying to swallow up any other birds passing through. Weare about 2 miles north of consett.
  23. Have all organisations canceled Saturday race for a Sunday or some sill going for a Saturday lib? Fancy a look as I think there's 3 Feds there.
  24. Waiting another week had them away already but it's bitter out there didn't even want to loft fly today so in they came. Next week temps jump massively and nice southerly winds, why rush the season is long and first week this weekend is a 80miler only a training toss really, not risking channel team for a baby race in these conditions.
