find box perch better,around 10" square,gives the pigeon something to protect and is easier to get your hands round them for basketing as they just back into the box perch.i would keep the perchies about 1" from back wall for scraping so nothing can collect in behind them,not as clean as plastic v perch but more practical,just clean and spray regular with jeyes fluid,good luck mate !
