Our first race is this Saturday but after 5 tosses and I hope a don't speak to soon I have been lucky 100% returns

A club m8 had the same type of fantails in his loft at the weekend with a lanarkshire ring on aswell,

Took the birds for there first toss last nite to elvanfoot went well all home in 1 batch

The gow can be a nitemare dell cause there's a nest just up the back of tescos you would mibi better taking the nxt cut of for Douglas give the birds a change to clear

Wire mesh has it's down falls cause the birds can clamber over it and it also catches feathers so dowels would be better but not essential , with reguard to your widowhood hens a would get boxes U can lock them up in as u don't want them to pair on to each other when there away from there cocks and the young bird loft v perches is all u need nice and simply hope this helps .

Just once a week ma birds get it m8 , I prepair it on a Monday nite by pouring boiling water into a 2 litre bottle with 1 clove and leave it over nite then split it between four drinkers .

Great thread sorry to see it finished for another year , loved watching and reading all comments , a must say it's defo the most extreme olr out there but that's the hole point, a take my hat of to everyone who's got the balls to send there birds well done every1 who sent just a shame it couldn't of finished on a high for one of the British birds and thanks again for the experience roll on next year

What we need to do is get as many fanciers together from our own areas that are willing to fight the problem and set up some type of system or group to get rid of the problems before they clean uz out , cause the problems arnt going to go away there selfs they are going to worse before getting better and the only way we are going to rid our sport of these problems is to stick together and fight cause we arent able to solve it with just the odd fanciers fighting we need everyone , it's the only way we can save the sport we all love
