sounds like me your saft , when i put my loft from Wales up here for Babybirds doos ,and fitted the boxes etc ,i could see each and every cock that had been there the season before ,although many have long gone now ,i still miss some of them characters

what pellets and how many ?? % of feed or in a seperate trough or pot .

ive noticed a few struggling with raising youngsters , suffering with watery droppings etc. what do you do to make sure that the youngsters you raise are big and healthy ??.

just got the outer doors open for a few hours ,had a cuppa, and will feed em now.

aye and the biggest rogue arrived in a dark car ,chauffer driven very good prices ALF. likewise pal.

will wait till end of March (although will only be weaning some about then) we are about 3 weeks behind schedule this year .normally have them over for a few weeks before starting .i think the darkness is a pain in the bum , but to compete today ,i feel you have to do it .

we called into Carluke club to collect some feeding on the way back through from Glasgow. some good stock at a fair price , the place was heaving with folk when we left . nice to see Delboy ,Ian W , and a few others ,thanks to Nogin and BigCal for helping to carry the sacks to the car for myself and Babybird.

there was an article about widow hens in the B.H.W only a few weeks back ,spread over 2 weeks , written by Alun of Redstar lofts ,lots of detail in there .i dont think its the "way forward" but can be used to great effect like all systems if done well. jmho.
