they do unless you state you have older birds (possibly flying out) they will keep those ring numbers (over 10 years old) "live" so to speak. I think its mainly to keep record space on the old computers etc.

Alnwick was our first yb race this season on Sat 27th July .returns averaged around 50 % mark. I don't believe it was the race point , returns across the country were bad that weekend ,and they didn't all liberate from Alnwick. if you have doubts ,why not pick some out , say 6 or 8 ? . at least then you wont have all your eggs in 1 basket , good luck whatever you decide.
