just had another yearling hen back , reported flown out a week ago and singled up in Newcastle .had another reported dead in Durham too, all rings to be sent via post (arrived this morning ,enveloped sliced down its side) so a postman has a SU 13 E life ring ,its ETS.and my phone number ring for his actions along with the other singled up in Manchester ,and the last years youngster returning after 11 months ,if they keep coming like this we will have to build another section
i understood a tough weekend racing for the Nederlands 2 weeks back. N L rung birds have been reported all over the UK for the past few weeks .i have a 2013 bird here that came over as a youngster last year ,so nothing new really .
we all breed a few these days , and there not all champions ? so if from a nest pair 1 is a winner on the road , what percentage would you say its nest-mate would breed good racers ??
