although a slightly different subject ,yet very similar , looks like a decision is down to the individual and there views

i understand what your saying , yet dont fully agree with all . freshly harvested , doubt it very much , whatever time of year . current suppliers dont store it throughout the year , due to high turn over. even the grain merchant wont store it the same as me ,they have storage and drying facilities , i dont . 1 harvest a year (here maybe) ,this day and age ,grains getting shipped all over the globe at different times of the year , and harvested at different times too ? i believe i have done the right thing using it up now . unless you can convince me otherwise , thats my thinking from now on

well i have spread it about the feeding bins today ,within a week or so it will be used up i feel . will look at "sell by date" on any feeding at the end of next season and add it to the winter feeding . another lesson learnt
