i have and still do , though not as much . use barley 50% of feed throughout the Winter . all year round with the white wedding birds . did use it for the widow cocks at 1 time too. and even experimented using only barley with 1 widow cock, and tried it on hens too , for 5 days , giving widowhood mix friday before basketing them . so its a good useful feeding i.m.o. (oh and tends to be cheap, which i like a lot)

well thats the brooding box set up now , ready for the newly hatched c.p.q. (quail) .
