i do not think its a problem birds being sold on the site it will give most a chance of getting a good deal at fair prices and if any one is over the top members will point this out so better chance of getting good stock it should be left to members selling to donate something whats fair cheers Alan

yes Mark thats the problem a lot of people would be glad to have their birds reported so they can get them back but a few could not care less and the minoraty will always spoil it for the rest do not be put off reporting strays as sometimes you will get a nice surprise and always hope if yours go missing that they get reported and you have a chance of getting them back if you keep her keep us informed how you get on with her cheers Alan

hi please note the K Hermans come in all colours example his champion the Jef a red the Waterloo bl pd and also the blacks VDW was never in partner ship with Karel nor was he his son in law he was his step son and lived on the next small holding karel was in his 70s when he married VDWs mother she was his house keeper his first sale was in Newcastle upon tyne at the old news theatre in the early 60s these birds did not make good prices as they where in a bit of a mess due to being on a boat for nearly a month amongst these where white grizzles the guys who bought these never looked back BASIL BEEBE imported a lot of hermans and was a close friend of karels and after his death imported them from his nephew dr PAUL hermans the hermans where very strong in the UNC area and YORKSHIRE and a lot of guys crossed them with great results with the bushys and janssens cheers Alan

are you sure the birds are yours go and see the guy take a couple of mates to witness his actions if he will not let you check his loft try blufing him with the cops if no joy catch him one dark night and get even with him thats what i would do as he sounds like a bucket of sh-t

when i had it after they where ok still had to jab them or would not have been allowed to race did not agree with it but had no other option regards jabing while they have it would say a bit stupid as some will be affected worse than others and will die and some might need culling so why waste your money as it serves no purpose do not think for one moment that because some show no signs that they have not got it they will all be affected let it run its corse best of luck

do not kill them multi vit birds for 7 days keep them confined to loft clean loft and disinfect each day disinfect your feet when leaving loft keep away from any other fanciers lofts or them let it run its corse some birds will die most will recover once they have recovered you can let them out a gain will most likely be 3 weeks the birds will be o k and if they are any good will race well next season if its para you have i had it 20 years ago in my y/bs and they flew well the following year and after winning fed ect alan
