very good post think it sums it up we start with old birds far too early and the same with y/bs time to revert back to the 2 week break to give us clear skys for our young ins first races 7 races plenty for young ins and yes Walter your bang on 700 birds to our second y/b race speaks for itself JMO

Walter my young ins where well schooled as I had been training before I took 2 weeks holiday and trained them up but I,m lucky I get to pick and choose when I go on holiday but I still think we start far too early with our old birds and this has a knock on effect there is far too many short races that do no good seems the middle distance points been changed for these short skips but like every one else the AGM is the place to change the program and yes Robbie I agree why change a good m/dist point for a skip JMO

start the first weekend in may early enough and still have a 2 break between old birds and y/bs JMO
