Hi All The North Wirral and West Lancashire Amal went from mangotsfield at 11-45 in wsw wind and the Wirral part of it got battered again, two weeks on the run. One suggestion is the birds are sick, but we have some of the best fanciers around here and they suffered losses too, so I dont buy the sickness argument maybe some might. But if a fancier is 1,2,3 fed and loses 20 pigeons are his pigeon in good condition or just not as sick as the others John

Hi Any tips on how to keep young birds off my garage roof. The loft is directly right next to the loft. I chase them off and they went and landed on the house roof, which I dont want. The young birds are only just starting to take to the air so they are not flying round the loft yet just exploring. the last thing I want to do is scare them off, but young are like sheep they follow each other John

The distance is measured to the middle of your garden or plot. Its all done off OS maps and they get the map of your garden and pinpoint the middle. So does not really matter how many lofts you have or situated in your plot. If you want to gain an advantage have the lofts as near to your house as possible.... you may gain a yard
