experiencing a bit of a thaw 0c so bit bit warmer than yesterday had to keep topping water up every couple of hours , took the drinkers all out last night , all nice and clean to go back in , with a bit of luck they wont freeze again

Who's going to Blackpool from site would like to meet up at the Arena Hall at the bar at 1 o'clock on Saturday ??? Best in show will be done again this year , nice trophy and £50 I shall be in attendance on Saturday and be also taking Peter Thorpe

Drinkers frozen for first time not been below freezing all day and this freezing fog don't help Be careful not to let birds dehydrate whilst were in this cold patch as they can't regulate there heat once dehydrated

Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery and bounces back to good health

We used to have a show race birds were shown to compete in the prize money from a selected race am sure federations could do this for several of there fed races if wished to do so . Half went to showing other half went to the race am sure the cost of the venue if any could be deducted but a good way of creating shows within your area purely for the racing men

As said most of the show guys wouldn't be there , and a reduced number of birds would be present but no harm in trying a Racers only show but as most presentations take place after new year you would be again limited to birds over 2 year olds unless accompanied by a flown certificate by each secretary

What if it's torched in off season you wouldn't be covered ???????? , but maybe a reduced policy due to been on the road for 6 months only
