  2. tell ya what there crackers wish had the room :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: my tip would be buy these fly them out a bit get them settled and take two rounds from them and leave these originals as stock then you'd have 3 times the birds for a fraction of there true value
  3. yup but can you actually see them having this insurance on a liquidised company ?????? usually when moneys tight and they cut back and cut corners that's the first thing to go , no doubt if this company's failed they'll probably set up under another name but how the hell would a latebred fly home from been released ???? anyway this was a sham hope everyone that had birds travelling with them have received what they paid for or get compensation one way or another
  4. Terrible news , our thoughts are with the family's at this sad time

  14. Well done Davy , at the end of the day if one bird suffers it's one too many , It's pretty obvious that there will be birds somewhere as they collected right up to liquidisers been in . Also well done Frank for trying . :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  15. end of racing mine are locked up , no point in feeding bops around loft during winter , falling to bits , quite agree that flying birds moult slower
  16. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this sad time may he rest in peace

  18. completely agree with ya , they knowingly collected / let drivers collect with full knowledge birds would be stranded and made to suffer by there actions , hope they get prosecuted for there actions !!!!
  19. Well Done Davy , hope they ensure all vans if any there and premises are bird free , hate to think any birds have suffered because this courier decided just to continue with the knowledge they were going in to liquidation . Also feel sorry for drivers been out of work .
  20. I knew by the sounds of things birds would still be in there depots this is a terrible state of affairs be poor birds in boxes either in depots or in Vans with no food and water and no way of getting them to there destinations or back to original owners can't believe they were still picking up when they knew this was happening :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: hope you get it sorted Davy
  21. Welcome to Northerner feel free to introduce yourself here
  22. be much better fer ets next year , and can bath all birds in mini aviaries and basket them up in them as well
  23. I report every bird that enters my loft , I also collect NEHU and Shu strays up and liberate them 86 miles away once a month . BOPS are the biggest problem , poorly trained young birds are the next problem and thirdly too much crap being sent if young birds are singled up prior to racing then they have to use there own brains / instincts to get themselves home the biggest loss are the ones that follow other birds rather than use there own brains . I believe a lot of culls are carried to boost numbers and breeding from more birds to get numbers so are all of a same age rather than breed 2 or 3 rounds from your best birds , fanciers should rely more on quality than quantity , less is more , and birds that aren't propped up by the medicine cabinet will fair better long term . Also forgot to add a lot of young birds go down in corn fields and can take a long while until there harvested and come out
  24. Feel free to talk about your pigeons what pigeons do you keep and what club are you in ????
