Everything i do in regards of my pigeons is at a set time letting out , cleaning letting back in and feeding , the birds become less stressed as they know when there getting fed and know when to come in and stuff because the routine is always the same , ok i don't let my birds out during the winter but they get fed at the same time all year round , poorly wintered birds don't perform as well as those that's been looked after having pigeons is 24/7 , 365 days a year , no-one else is going to look after them if you don't they rely on you for everything , I'm never a minute late and I feel this firstly reduces stress , it also makes them more controllable as they know when it's time to exercise eat and rest , when your in control they become easier to manage no birds stopping out never late letting other birds out and so on , birds respond better to routine and good management , I believe when you have a good routine and your management is set , it's then when you can get the best out of your birds . Routine = Management = Health = fitness = form = super form .
