  1. you probably can't see it but the wire on the photo is in the draw of the box , only problem with the previous design was they took too much time entering I changed it to the bottom like i said I've now removed the sputniks and am building my own mini aviaries
  2. the window or hole where your going to have a trap will have a baton a fix the draw through the ply 2x1 at the front edge where you have the opening for the ets draw like a n shape then fix yer trap on top
  3. like I said that was my first attempt your better building a draw 2 batons either side say 2inch wide x 1 inch thick and a baton at the rear then sandwich the 3 batons with think ply making a draw with an opening where the front of the base of where your trap is to be screw the two front batons to your draw then add your trap above your ets then is always protected
  4. in past i've made a rear door simple enough Josh
  5. just lift trap up an inch build a draw where ets can slide in screw either edge of draw then fix trap on top simples

  17. Shug although copied that article contradicts itself don't use fresh water when medicating but use it every day your not it has good effect . Birds naturally sip water to detect if safe to drink or not , but then again a bird will drink from a puddle or a pond or river my drinkers hold 3 days water so am i 1/3 wrong 2/3rd right but then again most diseases / ailments are passed via the water , it be fine for 24 hours whilst chlorine is active and not for 48 hours , but on a flip side are birds building up immunity naturally for 2 days and get a rest whilst the chlorine is in the water

    Sales

Well if stretched , more fanciers will talk about it word gets around then there's more bidders , then more chance of getting 2 or 3 fat wallets wanting same bird , only ones that benefit is the seller , My advice to everyone is stay away from Auctions and silly prices , yes by all means go to them get details of loft owner via pedigrees buy young birds at a set price direct , and if you can buy a bird you want at auction for a price your happy to pay then your a shrewd fancier , try not to get into a bidding war sometimes the other fancier will offer you young birds from the bird you wanted
  24. He was enjoying the run :emoticon-0140-rofl:
