  1. Vic I am not a Man U fan. Rangers and the mighty Forres Mechanics of the Highland league for me. I just think that Fergie is a master at these mind games and in my opinion the greatest manager this country has ever seen. As I said as a neutral i think it is going to be very interesting. May the best man win. Paul.
  2. Fergie has obviously got under the skin of Rafa. If he wasn't worried he should have just laughed it off Fergie has got into his head, he will be smiling today. Mission accomplished. Like him or loath him he is a great 'man-manager' and he is pulling Rafa's strings. I think it will be an interesting run in, should make good viewing. Paul.
  3. I thought that was the minimum entry qualification 8) 8) 8)
  4. Maybe he fancies himself as a mod ;D ;D I get the feeling he would do a better job though ;)
  5. You have to let these things develop a bit otherwise there would be very few replies
  6. Alright twelve quid final offer, that is nearly two pounds a day man! ;D ;D ;D ;D :P
  7. He can baby-sit my two for a week. I will sling him a tenner ;) ;D ;D ;D
  8. I have been winging it with the school holidays. I knew it would come in handy 8) 8)
  9. A man after my own heart. I have not raced pigeons for 9 years now but I have managed to keep the tradition of the main holiday of the year being in October ;) ;)
  10. Hello is there anyone out there from the Kent area going to Blackpool? P.M me if you are thanks. Regards, Paul.
  11. Getting excited about pairing up and breeding my first pigeons for 9 long long years. I am like a little kid again I cant wait. I am already wondering what colours they will be, how they will shape up, will they be any good. It is like 1985 all over again. Paul.
  12. See if you can get some medical glue. Doctors use it rather than stitches nowadays for a lot of cuts but you would have to be really careful with its application. Paul.
  13. Vic that is a bit deep for me can you expand a bit mate
  14. Here here Davey. If he was a crap flier he would have been accepted with open arms and would probably be club secretary or president by now. It is all about the guy's ability as a flier he is too much of a threat to the club i.e he would win too much. Paul.
  15. Robbie that is shocking. There are members in Aberdeen as far north as blackdog, Belhelvie, Newburgh etc and members in the north fed as far south as Hatton. Somebody has to be the the longest flying and some body has to be the shortest flying. That is a shocking situation to be in and both the Feds and the clubs in them need to have a long hard look at themselves. I have been a member of both feds and in my opinion some of the clubs in these organisations could do with all the members they can get. All the best, Paul.
  16. Well Done Fletch! Best of luck. Regards, Paul.
  17. Birds look fantastic. Good luck. Regards, Paul.
  18. Welcome back to the fold. Paul.
  19. Not as childish as declining someone membership on grounds that they are a good fancier
  20. Vitamin D is required for the bird to absorb calcium into the bloodstream. Cod liver oil ( high in vit D ) on the corn prior to pairing along with a calcium supplement should do the trick. Paul.
  21. Exactly, if you are within the radius you should be accepted
  22. I think this is a disgrace. It is no wonder that the sport is in decline. How would these guys have coped in the days of bigger membership and greater competition. Derek I wish you all the best in finding a club to compete in. One other point which i am not 100% sure about but the clubs that have received lottery funding may find that the grants are awarded on the understanding that restrictions to membership are not allowed other than for legal or conduct issues. I may be wrong but it could be worth looking into! Paul.
  23. Good idea
  24. They need to be non-toxic waterbased if possible
