  12. I think this is truly shocking. The sport is in decline and we shun new members..unbelievable. The fanciers in your area should take a long hard look at themselves. Then again some thrive on less competition particularly those who are only really concerned with selling...a load of club wins sells birds but who are they beating!!! some mug new-starter will no doubt be conned again.

  20. I had that problem with a sycamore a couple of years ago. Never noticed it in my 'garden to encourage wildlife' i.e hadn't cut the grass or weeded for ages, but nightmare to get out nonetheless. :(
