Due to a very changeable forecast for the weekend a decision about basketing will be made tomorrow and not left until Thursday night. The reason for this is that some clubs are basketing from 6am and I think the Inverness lads are basketing on Thursday night so in fairness Thursday night is too late. I am away with work all day tomorrow but the decision will be on here by 8pm at the latest once it is communicated to me.

Approximately 1000 birds were liberated at Ripon at 06.30. Birds were liberated in blue skies with the sun shining with little or no wind. Birds broke into two batches and cleared immediately towards the A1. Good luck to all competing.

Christ Derek when I read the title of the thread I thought you had splashed out on a box of milk tray and a bottle of blue stratos 🤣🤣🤣🤣 On a serous note that must be an absolute nightmare mate. I hope you get it sorted before it does any damage. We have serious issues up here with pine martins that have devastated many a loft. There are idiots feeding these foxes that have no idea what they can do. Wasn't long ago one got in a house and had a go at a baby, thankfully it seemed more interested in eating its shitty nappy than doing serious damage but it is only a matter of time! I think you forget that some clubs were basketing at 8am and guys had to drop birds off before going to their work so a decision couldn't be left until Friday. Approx 1750 birds were Liberated at 8.40 in a Light South West wind. The birds broke into work batches and cleared very quickly. Good luck to all members. Another good birdage for the fed and birdage is up almost 2k against last year for the first four races 🖒
