    GOING LIGHT

they will lose some weight if they are being driven hard by the cocks, often the hen won't even be allowed to feed proporly, just watch her for a couple of days and when they start sitting and she can feed in peace you'll prob find she puts the weight back on.

  6. tail to earth and ear to live works well!
  7. Some youngbirds might be tried this year if I drop some rings over Bill. ;)

  16. have a section with 8 boxes in and keep your bull cock seperate, allow the cocks to pair through the bars and not run with the hens, twice a day let the bull in with each hen for long enough to tread her then shut her back in her box and move the bull to the next box. While the bull is with the hens remove the feeder cock. At 5 days put bowls and nest material in for the hens, when the hens lay there 2nd eggs let the feeder cocks into the hens and they will sit the eggs and you can pair the bull cock up to another hen if you wish. If all goes to plan you could have 16 yb's in one round from your bull!
  17. and not to mention the birds on Elimar!
  18. This does raise a good point and maybe admin could open a section for items under £20 eg for maybe £1 per add. This would be a compromise for anybody selling the odd basket, or feeders and loft equiptment etc.

  21. you sure he hasn't damaged it in the loft? Have you got wire on the front or a wire aviary he could have caught the flight on flying against the wire?
  22. Can't see anything wrong with the £25 and don't think people are put of by it! The reason there are only a few adverts is more likely to be the time of year! A lot have already sorted there pairs and have paired up so surplus birds have already been sold and its to early to be selling youngsters.
  23. hoe you let him put his feet up now anf enjoy Christmas off!

    GPS Auctions???

updated 25/11/09 on there home page at the bottom. GPS-AUCTIONS PROMOTED WORLD WIDE !!! The Dutch pigeon market unfortunately continues to get smaller. To increase our market, we have promoted our pigeon auction site at several of the pigeon hobby related trade shows. We were in Kassel - Germany, Rosmalen - Holland and China. Other shows we intend to attend are in Romania, Poland, China 2 x, Blackpool - England, Dortmunt Germany, etc. G.P.S Auctions is the only site that does this for their customers, so they are exposed to a world wide audience. Would you like to take advantage of this world wide exposure? Do not hesitate to make contact with us, so we can discuss the posibilities?
