Following taken from web site, just thought it maybe easier than making own:-- Saline solution is for rinsing and storing contact lenses, when you're using a heat or UV disinfection system. You may also need it for use with enzymatic cleaning tablets or cleaning/disinfecting devices. Never use saline products for cleaning and disinfection.

what is it and who makes it?

how much salt to 1pt water approx? Could you use the saline solution for cleaning contact lenses etc?

the birds don't need water 24/7, feed, put water down then empty water 1hr after feed, no freezing and birds can drink when they need it, after each feed.

I would love some of them again but I was just realy saying the birds at auction wern't a patch on what i'd seen before but that may well be no reflection on the stock he had at home.

I bought a pair of youngsters from him back in the early 80's after seeing his stock at Blackpool, 1 hen won herself and the other bred a handfull of winners upto and including 504m. I went to his auction a couple of years ago at Blackpool and the birds wern't a patch on the birds he had 25 years ago, they were clearly very inbred, small etc and certainly wern't what I wanted to reintroduce.

Pigeon racing is not a recognised sport and the unions have failed to get it recognised! When and if it does become an official sport the money men will make even more, there will be lofts getting sponsorship etc etc as other sports and sportsman get.

Bird gifted by my partner to a squeaker sale won the Welsh National, bird was called Bevan Boy! A bird I gifted was mother to Supreme champion at Blackpool and when a daughter was gifted back bred cock thats taken 12 Best in Shows, won class 34 Blackpool, BOS Blackpool and BOS Old Comrades.
