  1. you need to be sure they are settled in the loft 1st
  2. yes, if they are coming to you for food and are settled, the younger you can get them out the better. Can they see out of the loft?
  3. in the evening around there normal feed time as they will be looking for food.

  5. if they are babies, get them settled, coming to you for food and as soon as you feel they are settled, feeding well etc then just let them come out of there own accord, don't chase them or anything just let them find there own way out for a look around and then call them back in when your ready. Just take it slowly with them! Phil
  6. The members who cannot rise to the challenge, improve there system, become more dedicated to the cause will still not win running away to another club, so what the point! They may as well pack it in now! If they do run away the other 3 can't race on there own without other going to help mark there birds! Phil

  14. a guy down the road had to build his loft into a steep bank so he dug the ground out built the base and then put his loft ontop. Under the floor he had a door which he could walk through and clean out the underfloor are which was 6' high giving a realy good flow of air. Phil
  15. you have to be careful that mice don't get through the air bricks. Best way would be to put airbricks in low down, below a false grille floor so that droppings etc fall through the grilles and the air rises from below the floor and escapes at roof height. Phil
  16. there is no problem using a block construction but as with most lofts its all about having adequat ventilation. Phil

  20. if its a flight pen then RV woodcraft do panels 3' x 6' so you make up what size you want.
