A lot seem to be swearing by Gerry plus and then adding protien as the races get longer, but I would just go with a good youngbird mix. If they start flying less then lighten it with either some depurative or barley.

prob is then frank you have the opposite problem, the birds a sat in a nice cool air conditioned transporter, strings are cut and they fly out into the full heat of the sun and hot air!
he is looking for her and that maybe why he's gone off a couple of times. You could put another hen in for him to help hold him to the loft but if you did I would cut its flights so that Bluey and junior can keep going out without risk of the hen flying away.

parents and grandparents used to make up a gallon of solution from crystals and then dilute it in the drinkers. The birds wattles always gleamed white, never any respiritory etc either.
Phil
put crates in backwards and the birds can't get to the drinker system and would somebody want to be messing around changing crates about, hard enough to get some convoyers to water the birds let alone move crates!

there seems plenty of air while the trailers moving but if stood for anytime with a still day and perspex sides in the sun they will cook and it needs some kind of electric fan ventilation.
