    Poultry sales

easier to look online, live before printed in hard copy. There are also many bird sales and auctions around the country.
  3. Spot on pigeonscout, the research carried out at Oxford university lofts proved that. I don't know about others but when training I always stand the baskets out of the car for 5mins before liberating to give them chance to adjust to light and sun position. Phil

  9. very interesting IB
  10. mind you, just seen forecast, thundery rain coming in latter which will clear the air but won't help the birds as atmospheric preasure will go haywire.
  11. normally other way around, most mornings lately the valleys been closed in until the sun burns it off! Need to get the yb's down the road before it gets to hot!
  12. its another wonderful day, suns shineing etc!
  13. A stable block would make a great loft as you can make a flight corridor under overhang to eliminate risk of any bird being able to escape and to allow the birds to bath etc.
  14. got to try Chris!
  15. I can offer personal delivery after quaranteening it for you for 2 wks? Phil

  18. Well done Max
  19. reckon he's got a bargain!
  20. there is a much higher percentage of whites bred from Grizzles than pieds. Grizzle to Grizzle will continue to dilute! Pied to Pied will just continue to throw varying degrees of pied.
  21. lost of loft in Oxford, reported in Scotland following morning!
  22. Swop the pairs around may give you a higher percentage and pair the most diluted from each pair together. There is no such colour as white appart from Albino, as Oldfellow says they are dilutes. Phil
  23. I agree Chrisss the rule does need changeing but the fossils at the top won't allow it!
  24. if members stamped there birds "bin me please" the RSPB etc would go mad but thats basically what some are doing by not wanting them!
  25. If as you say they were hit around the loft and not while training they need to gain confidence around home again first! If you keep them locked in and then train they aint gonna want to come home! Shut them up for a couple of days to calm down, make sure they are calm with you and settled in the loft and then once, and only once they are flying well around home again should they be put back on the road! Phil
