I always make pillars from concrete blocks and use 4x2 timbers accross them then sit the floor on top. They are always high enough of the ground to allow the dogs to get underneath that way nothing can live under the loft, mice, rats etc. Phil

if you don't ask questions how will you get answers? I.e if you don't know about a particular family of birds you should be asking about best methods to fly them on etc as well as best way to breed and feed etc, without this basic info you are stabbing in the dark! Also a question that always causes problems is when people as about performances, genuine fanciers are happy to tell buyers how they have done with them where as feather merchants will get all defensive. The NPA will have fancy shows listed but racer shows arn't usualy advertised and will pob only be known about by local fanciers. If you know of anybody local to you that race they would know of any clubs that hold shows. I think there is also a big show with stands and sales in Dublin area during nov/dec which will be advertised in the BHW Phil

if there is no air coming in at floor level the air flow coming and and going out at roof level can not draw the stale air up from floor level.
