Our club is 80% pensioners and by paying a fixed flying fee sending or not they know at the begining of the season exactly how much it's going to cost them so they can budget. As i said earlier i wasn't sure about it when i moved here but it works and if your fed made a big loss on the distance races as few sent would you be happy to have to put your hand back in to your pocket and pay a levy?
