Llouella has been mentioned on a previous thread regarding i'll young birds. Last year a neighbour purchased a team of youngsters from there and within a couple of days they started to die, fortunatly they were isolated from the main loft, after a week of daily deaths the balance were sent back and money refunded. He's just had a letter asking for him to check his birds as they beleive they may have transfered a wrong ring to him, they have clearly resold one of the sick birds that he returned last year to somebody for stock!

when you look at breeds also think about what you want them to do! Are they to just keep in the shed for enjoyment, do you want something that fly's and performs etc etc

there is no benefit from painting it but if its to dark in there then thinkabout windows and ventilation in the front etc rather than the roof which is then likely to leak.
