i think its wilkinsons but somebody does some stuff called sticky stuff remover and that will do it.
  3. I'm sure once upon a time we had a thread for members to post anywhere they were going on there travels incase any fellow members had birds to take/collect in those areas. Maybe we need to find it again and work together again now racing has started.
  4. if it was i would have thought that you would have seen signs of this before now.
  5. if people can't afford to send for them or collect them then how do they afford to keep them? I remember back in early 70's, a chap called Bill Love, at that time from Mitcheldean drove all the way to us at Oxford to collect a bird i'd picked up in the farm yard. The bird had broken its leg and fallen into an oil drum. When he saw how well i'd helped the bird he wanted me to keep it, the bird went on to breed winners and the family were friends right up until Bill died a few years ago. Many friendships and good birds have been exchanged through claiming and reporting strays.
  6. not all pensioners are the same. Its just there are a list of excuses given when birds are reported and faciers can't be asked to either collect or send for there birds. Excuses:- i'm a pensioner and can't afford it. I'm out of work and can't afford it. i gave the bird to somebody and they havn't transfered it I don't drive and can't get there on the bus etc etc etc, i'm sure there are many many more
  7. lol and even if they race!
  8. that would cause watery dropping but these are said to be firm. i suspect it could be somthing as simple as a scratch to its throat caused by a sharp piece of grain or grit etc .
  9. either pensioners or on the dole and can't afford it!
  10. maybe its me but after any antibiotics aftercare should be advised or prescribed irrelevent of the test results also there are other precautions etc that should be advised while undergoing treatment
  11. what aftercare has the vet prescribed and did he tell you to remove grit etc?
  12. i'm sure this will be the first of many numpty but they will all be winners belonging to pensioners

  18. South West Wales up at 10.45
  19. are you not contradicting youself here? if they do need treated , they cant be spot on correct, so why do you routinely treat every three weeks? Either your birds arn't spot on or you want to reduce there immunity!
  20. you would think its a good idea being your web site thats promoting it but majority of old fanciers in my club don't have mobiles.
