anyone race more than one distance???
jimmy white replied to Leroy's topic in Breeding, Strains & Families
racing the distance takes a lot of time and patience, with expert loft management and excellent distance pigeons , with due respect leroy,, i would race a season or two first being a newbie , as little experience is really needed for these races,, enjoy your shorter racing first then progress to the distance racing,, but,, anything is possible with pigeons but this would be my opinion,,,good luck -
i beleive this to be qute right ib,, i had a hen repeat this laying of un-shelled eggs, many years ago,, the bird never ever laid a shelled perfect egg,, all the others were allways fine,, vets advice exactly the same,, "the birds laying machinary not right",,,,,if i had a few doing this , would be more inclined to find out the reason then,,,

a little early for red mite,, but just wondered if could poss be depluming mite,, inherited from some old birds??
-
well done nagid,,"your one in a million" that young lad will never forget that for the rest of his life,,, this is what the pigeon sport is about, sharing, giving and helping,, many would have it the other way, but kindess begets kindness and you have prooved this,,, good luck to wee gaz , im sure hell do well with them
-

"according to me, you must let them in",, no blinken way, > > >, please get your facts right > > > a registered child sex offender is not recognized as "part of the community " by law,,[they come under the law, and are supervised by the law], > > >, off course you can refuse them into your club ,and with dam good reason, too > > the lottery" awards for all" , are for members of the "community" ,,,,,thats what im saying , and thats what the" awards for all" rules say,,,,,,and if rules for" awards for all" are broken they have the power to retreive their grant, or assets to the value,, ,,,,read all,, it takes time,, but read all. as i said b4 this is not aimed at lanarkshire its aimed at all clubs/feds/ unions ,,,, ,,even gilmeron h,c [which it was aiming at >: >(] refusing an twelve year old boy,,membership , born in gilmerton ,father born in gilmerton, grandfather born in gilmerton, pillars of society,,the worst part being, the secy saying to the lads dad "sorry we couldnt get a seconder" when infact that same secy never even proposed [no one proposed] no reason given,,,this is breaking " awards for all rules" ,, please think on that one homer, sorry to sound annoyed but i am annoyed ,,,, luckily the lad , applied to another club, same fed, and was welcomed with open arms ,,,unanimously , happiest lad in the world now, ,, this is what the "awards for all " is for, help and , encouragement , which this club showed in great style ,,,,,made a very unhappy laddie,, very happy, and i for one would applaude this club for this http://www.awardsforall.org.uk/scotland/index.html
-
all i said was the awards for all,,,,were to help the community ,,, according to me that child sex offender would not only not get in,,he would get life , if i had my way,,, > > >

reading the" awards for all " rules etc ..... very carefully indeed,, means that the award is to help ALL in the community.
-
sorry bigda,, wrong
-
i realize what you saying bart , and with the greatest respect for yourself i am merely showing the situation via lottery grants "awards for ALL ",,, these awards in some clubs/feds /unions/ are in fact ,in some cases illegal,,,and ,if found to be illegal can result in some serious consequencies in some circles [im not aiming at lanarkshire fed personally] im aiming at the rules of " awards for ALL" for any pigeon organization that it could effect,
-
i think many clubs/feds/unions etc should take a closer look at http://www.awardsforall.org.uk/docs/awardsforall_scotland_guide.pdf before making their own rules :-/
