  1. glad to help such a worthy cause
  2. i know this is a very serious subject, and i know speckled takes this serious, as she keeps chickens herself, and she knows well about the subject, but really her post [i think] was to keep morale up, as things become very serious, we need to keep on the positive side, and if we can try our best, not to get us too much down,as is happening, all the posts are very informative, so lets just hope things dont get worse, there are some humerous posts on the avian flu column, so really we have to keep on the bright side[hard as it is] to keep us going, never the less, i think we all realise how serious this matter is

  6. with due respect mike i would expect a national winner to have scaly skin,,,after the event,,,, but b4 they go i would prefer to see the pink unscaly skin, telling me that the blood condition is perfect, and the temperature of the bird is perfect, and the bird is in tip top condition
  7. youll find a lot of info about cider vinegar on the health post,,,good luck
  8. i used to put buckets of hot water out the tap in their bath, before i could get the bucket of cold water in , all the birds were in the bath, i would say the water was" hand hot"[i could put my hand in the water] steam rising like a turkish bath, all in it with there wings lying open in the water and enjoying it, weve got to remember that a pigeons temperature is about 104 compared to ours 98 [ours is 104 when its a bad race ;D ;D], but my gooness i was surprised they went in it,when it was that hot, but they seemed to enjoy it :)

  24. ;D ;D ;D there theories and theories, some are staring you in the face, others are not, this is the story of a top theoriest, i,n,o. all. he placed a frog in his hand and said JUMP and the frog jumped he done this again , and said JUMP, and the frog jumped he then took a penknife from his pocket and cut the frogs back legs off, said to the frog JUMP, and off course it never moved, he put it back on his hand and said JUMP,and off course it never moved, now after a little thought, the theoriest, came out with his answer, he said, now i have come to the conclusion, that when you cut a frogs back legs off IT BECOMES DEAF,,,,,,i wonder how many of us think in this way ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
