  11. hi jordan, i see your 15 years old, you really dont want to get in to trouble, as bruno says your eggs should hatch, the good cat repelants work, but what about a wee jack russel, [ the rotweiler would do the neighbours ;D ;D only kidding] but really sorry this has happened to you, your better being there when your birds are out, lets hope you have no more bother

  16. when winning combine sartilly 505 miles,,,widowhood cock full wing, paired feb no training, but the bird flew itself for 2.3 hoursafter other cocks were in , 4 races previous inland up to 280 miles scored in the last two, more or less normal widowhood method, the race was reasonably fast sir colin was opposite, scored 4 times nat,inc ist region 2 open 604 miles, second flight just peeping, through loaded with peanuts, the last few weeks as much as he wanted, flew out with widowhood cocks , then with ybs [kept in spacious yb loft] was taking to two young hens all races hard with head winds, with limited birds timed in, bird that was 15 open rennes 550 miles, widowhood cock 6 years old , cast first flight, last race 280 miles [ broken bird flying back and forward to fife every day] fed peanuts, put two 3day old ybs in nest pan 2 days b4 race, took to them like a duck taking to water, had to keep changing young as he had no soft food other birds scored natural ,mostly hens 4 races in land up to 280 mile then trained hard down to 50 mies every second day, fed heavy mix , paired march , usually second flight, just comming through,,,,,,would be interested in other fanciers methods

  24. wonder if the members of the forum who have scored from 500 mile plus, would be kind enough to let the forum know of the condition the birds were in, i,e cocks , hens, widowhood or natural , which flight they were on ,age etc, had they flown this b4 what races they had,had , training etc
  25. its quite usual for yearlings laying their first eggs to have streaks of blood on them, but im not sure what you mean by" brittle" did the eggs hatch ok?
