  9. get a hose to the length of midlothian, well give you all the water you need ;D ;D ;D i would agree with other posts , the heat will effect them, but they shouldnt regurgitate any food up, i would get the old milton in the water as soon as i fed them, and keep a close eye on them
  10. i would report the matter to the police, for the convoyers safety[and the pigeons] if any of these yobs were hurt after that,,,,,,well , i would phone the police every 10 mins if need be, and a letter from the organisers,to the police before hand as well, if the police were seen not to be doing their job , theres a lot you could do.

  12. so sorry thats happened pete, i would agree about not putting old birds in , as they just break off the batch and split them up, but that sounds more like a hawck attack to me, , i would think youll get a lot of these birds back yet, i certainly hope so, a few years ago i released ybs for a trainer and saw the perigrine attack it killed one ,the rest dived for cover in the trees etc, out of about 60 ybs i finished up with about half of them during the next week [plus a few that were injured,[ but after settling them down , they flew very well as ybs and old birds
  13. i would agree with you silverwings vaccinated as yb only, i know many will disagree but thats only my opinion
  14. think andy deserves a mention sent 5 got 5 all in reasonable time, great flying he had a good one on the day another early morning, followed by the other 3 not long after that

  21. looking at tammys post ..training 5,600 nmilers etc, and brunos last post, i am a bit surprised that many of our distant winners in the last few weeks , havent posted how they trained , raced and bred these 500 mile prize winners, im quite sure there are many on the forum would like to know,,,,,,,,or is it a secret ;D ;D ;D
