putting dandydoos and my slang together , wonder if anyone could read this ;D ;D ;D
.
there was a BRAW DOOMAN kept some CROUPS that were his AIN, his loft was full of
TOLIES so it was MINGING,reason being he was allways FU and bleary EEND,when his mate challenged him,he just through him a DEEFY,after giving him the RUBBER LUG,even allthough he had a big GUB he said he would have NANE of it, then he turned CRABBIT ,then belted him [he was LOUPIN then, and called him a SLEEKIT so an so,again he would have NANE of this, and just went hame for a plate of NEEPS, even allthough he was a bit CORREJUCKET ;D ;D ;D ;D
yes i agree youll get the few getting throughb4 dark,,,but difficult, think theyll still be timing tomorrow morning, i really do wish you all luck, just seen shadows post, thats hot hot
also a great help for the disabled,,,but no wish to go in to it in detail, as it usually finishes up a rumpus,, but whats wrong with a sensible debate,,,,if thats possible,
theres a big differance to a debate rather than an arguement
clockies getting rid of his clock and just getting a calender ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D only joking clockie,,,,,good luck in race
just a few mins away from where i stay , there are a double set [paralell] set of pylon wires ,,meeting in to a sub station, all wires, i often wish i could go in there with a metal detector,as ive seen many many pigeons especialy ybs hit these wires, training or racing, and this is over years, every week,,, and sometimes we blame the birds,,,nowadays between hawks and other obstacles, their like running the gauntlet every week, as red cheq hen says, you would think in this day and age,all would be hidden well under ground,,,even the hawks
westy, i noticed the lad has 60 odd tumblers,,,what size is his loft, if the loft was not big enough, it could be the heat adding to stress, which can lead to infection ,which often leads to secondry infection , if it was just the heat, everyones birds would be like that, but electrolytes same as reheydration salts, would do no harm, as long as they look reasonable now, the owner should be back soon ,youve done your best,so he can take over after that,,,,,,dont worry its not your fault
if the bird in question is a yb , they do heal far quicker,, i have found in the past, that its not so bad at the ankle joint, and better just being left, without splints, they gradually put their foot down themselves, and sometimes are walking well in a fortnight, i think theres all sorts of probs with splints ,i,e foot swelling etc, but sincerely wish you well with the bird
just have a look at all the previous winners and prize winners on snfc website, thatll ,let you know how theve all been managed, most of these winning pigeons are bred for the job, and have been managed for the job, i.e very little racing, and good mature pigeons,,we all know you will get the odd exception to the rule,,,if these great pigeons that have won nationals, were raced by joe bloggs down at the club,,,,,would they have still won?
I AGREE WITH MOST POSTS ABOVE,,BUT A GOOD DISTANCE PIGEON WILL" NOT" JUST WIN UNDER ANY MANAGEMENT, IT HAS TO BE MANAGED FOR THAT RACE IN QUESTION
I.E/ IF A GREAT DISTANCE PIGEON IS MANAGED IN SUCH A WAY ,THAT ITS TRAINING SRARTED IN MARCH ,GOING EVERYDAY IN EAST WINDS,,,,THEN HAVING 10 RACES THEN EXPECTED TO WIN AT 5 600 MILES ,,,,NO
MANAGEMENT COUNTS,,,MY OPINION
