  3. youll be getting specks bed ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D you can stay here ,,,bring your own tea bag ;D ;D ;D
  4. if your loosing them in the first week its liable [could be salmonella, paratyphoid ] this can be passed through the egg from carriers ,, pigeon milk should keep these ybs sustained no matter how youve fed them [for the first week ] then a high protein feed would be advised , with plenty grit and minerals,, even powdered baby milk powder in the water
  5. never even new it exsisted ,, but cant find it anyway , not under portal , where i was advised to look
  6. try old hands elementals ,,, its two small containers one with calcium ,, other yeast ,, bird will be perfect in 48 hours
  7. ;D ;D ;D wouldnt recommend the use of antibiotics , unless absolutely neccessary
  8. you dont say the distances apart mb,,, but im sure they would interfere,, especialy the ybs,,,,[from both sides]

  11. amtrack delever u,k, ,, theres a firm maybe worth trying ,,pigeon express,,, but i doubt somehow if they cover the u,k booking contact is 07912947743 website ,,,,www.pigeonexpress.co.uk,,,, if they dont do the whole of the uk ,, who knows they might soon.
  12. allthough ybs ,,,must be stamped ,, i find the rings are better , easy to remove b4 racing,,,,,,but either way,, how many do you get reported nowadays,, either via union or direct phone
  13. sorry cant help jakjak,, but maybe someone on the forum can help,,, its a pity amtrack just didint have a little competion,, would certainly help the pigeon fanciers,, as they [amtrack] are coining it in at the moment,,,but not from,, me :)
  14. your certainly no fraud judi :) :) hope you really enjoy the site ,,,,a big welcome to you :)
  15. allthough i didnt see it ,, a big very well done ian
  16. i said this a while ago , when all laughed at me if there were a pair of eagle owls living in each quarry in the uk ,, there would be less perigines,, these birds [like all owls ] come out of roosting of an evening ,, nest in the same habitat as the eagle owl ,, the eagle owl will take the perigrine whilst roosting ,,,it will not tolerate any other bird of prey near it or in its territory,,,, there is an old arguement as to wether thse birds are natively brittish ,, but on finding out some info [should see on the hawks post],,,,if born here in the wild,, their brittish, even if they are bred from escapees,,,, p,s they can be purchased quite easy in the cage and aviary paper
  17. aaaaargg(shrug)(shrug)(shrug)(shrug),,, ;D ;D ;D ;D when i woke up there were three walls knocked down ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D,, she said it would save me wallpaper ;D ;D ;D ;D what a sight :B :B :B :B ;D ;D ;D

  19. my own opinion bruno is that the blood is not pure enough yet , but no probs a lot are like that at this time of the year ,,, just going in to have a look at mine ,, ill pick one at random
  20. great westy ,, thought i was at the cinema ;D ;D ;D
  21. i would say it is possible , but in saying that the bird has to be very fit and most importantly it has to be "special", i scored a good nat position with a bird never having a training toss,,,,,,but,, this bird [a broken pigeon] was separated from his hen,[on purpose,], during the separation period, he covered at least 60 miles every day on his own accord [which i knewhe would do],back to the old place . where there was no loft,, i then slipped a yb under him ,, still without seeing the hen ,or having eggs , he then scored very well from rennes,, but this bird did have 3 races,,,,also won the combine from sartilly 500 miles using the same method but "special" pigeons are very difficult to come by,,,,look at fortune lady , a double gold award winner , some performance just one of these" special" birds ,,, but , really you wont find that special bird if you dont try it but i would prefer a bird doing at least 8 hours on the wing b4 these big events [even if the 8 hours was from 100 miles ,, hours on the wing that count, in my opinion]
  22. yor probably bang on bruno,,overdid it a bit yesterday ,, im on the strongest pain killers ,, i have a tens machine plus these anti t,n f injections twice a week , i have easy bed on the floor of my loft , but scrape the perches , then my hand swells up , i also have the drinkers well off the floor , so really find i cant do much more,, but a few months ago this complaint became reasonable,, and my neck turning ok now, ,, just seems to be a wee bad spell, but as usual allways seems worse during the night early morning ,, i know theres a few on the forum with dissabilities , so wish you lads and lasses well and hope it doesnt get you down,, think we should all look at the positive side , spring showing through now, more interest in birds now , and unfortunately its a true saying,, theres allways someone worse of than yourself ,,so maybe worth a word to main man up above , god bless all p,s thanks all
  23. good luck to all who have entered including ,,,me ;D ;D ;D ;D
