good results are hard to get , so why not mention this result ,, well done stuart ,,,,its a pity in the pigeon world today we have such jealousy , this spoils it . [do fanciers think that the powers that be [with there experience and knowledge ] dont know what an improbable vel is , no , the last thing they would want to do ,is take a result from someone , so it has to be done for a reason [and they will know the reason ]

the one that wins regularly

Sprint, medium, long distance
jimmy white replied to Iqbal's topic in Novices, Beginners & Young Fanciers
as ive said b4, in my opinion we put too much emphasis on so called" breeds" i would much prefer pigeons bred off a few generations of the type of races you wanted to go for i,e distance birds bred from birds that have proven they can win at the distance ,,,,,,,sprint birds that are bred from birds that have proven winning at sprint , then theres off course , setting them up for the type of races you want to have a go at -
yes they look very well indeed ,, best of luck
-
if hes def not been shot, and def not hit wires etc, i couldnt imagine a collision happening , im wondering if theres any slight chance of the bird taking a heart attack in the air :-/
-
this , i have seen , unfortunately on many occasions , and the carnage it has caused , allthough one might be killed out of one batch, the rest are so panick stricken , and will fly into anywhere for cover and in doing so, killing themseves and maiming themselves , the batch could be 10 or 100 the result is the same
-
yes , i agree ,,,,as i have had an attack and few of my freinds have had yb,s killed, my thoughts are they allmost know the very young birds are vulnerable ,,,,,so very worth the watching of them ,,,,if they manage to kill one,, theyll be back and wont give up

yes ive did this , worked perfect , the bird laid allmost in the middle of the floor , next to the drinker , so i moved both [drinker and bowl] to the corner bit by bit , after they were sitting tighter , i moved the drinker back

yes your right phil, the pigeons never cease to amaze all, but the bird in question here is a 4 year old been there for 4 years , what he needs now, is a mate ;D [apart from you david ;D] when paired, hell never leave

yes this is what it is,, dear supporter, this action alert concerns the sickening use of hawksto terrify and kill pigeons-a practise, as the eye-witness account to the right shows [ pic on right] on word notepad the notorious van vynck avian solutions were sacked several years ago .following a spate of complaints about the huge number of birds deliberetly killed IN FRONT OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. seemingly they are back in trfalger sq. doing their stuff. just maybe , get some of the public on our side witnessing the effect a hawk has on a pigeon,,,, if this be the case of the notorious van vynck avian solution, i would predict accidents on the rd , birds flying into cars buses etc even people . a family out for the day wittnessing a hawk tearing a pigeon apart might just let them know what happens to our racing pigeons en-route especialy when the rspb are encouraging the growth of this species all over the uk [especialy when most places are polluted with them anyway[,,,,,,,,,just a thought

looks like thats what it is tony ,,,,,,,,,,,,,when you look at your e mail in your post, but cant remember having anything to do with this , ill open it and see :-/
