home help..just called to tell me there was a lot of feathers ,not 200 yds from me ,,had a look ,,,couldnt find pigeon [but it was pigeon feathers] can only guess that the bird has been put in a bin,, as the binmen were emtying bins at the same time

UPLIFTED FROM NEWCASTLE.. ;D travelled 230 miles to pick up stray ["PERCY" THE PROBLEM PIGEON ;D] AND AS VICKY SAYS,," PERCIVAL ",,ON A SUNDAY] [the union says belonged to freind of mines] ,,,su 08 p 2508????] only to find out it was an aberdeen pigeon,,[AB]] this was reported by a non -fancier ,,Vicky and her daughter [who told me over the phone ,,,,after i got home, and enquired,, that she still had the paper with the ring no on it,, she reported to s h u ,,,,,,,SU 08 AB 2508???? can unions make mistakes ???? and b4 anyone jumps down s h u,s throats,,,,have returned rpra receipt transfer form sent to mr g mitichel [ obviously by mistake ] to the real mr mitchell in DEVON,, informing him that the bird he had given[or sold] to the chap in FRANCE is now transferred to him , and he can NOW race it ..again ,,unions CAN make mistakes members are not allowed to make mistakes ;D ;D ;D as the union rules say so ;D ;D ;D??? p,s could the owner of su 08 ab 2508 ,, send me the £20 i gave to vickies 11 year old daughter megan ;D ;D[which i did ;D] for all she did for the bird i.e empty a dolls house ,water proofed it with poly thene , bought rice and seed out the shop,water dish , and really did care very much for this pigeon ,,,,,,,,,,theres not many like that ,,,,come to think of it theres not many like me ;D ;D ;D [ this is all true ;D but im sure the real owner will be pleased to hear his bird has been looked after,, and will thank young megan,,[again ;D]

a good look through all past pages on" pigeon basics" and you will find all of your answers ,,,,even pm some good fliers,, most are very good at giving advice good luck

this is very true,, maybe get someone to put down a handfull or two, just enough to get a pick,, its not the pigeons that cause vermin as most folks think,,its the grain [if left lying]

well done little pie,, the bird will probably fly when roughly 4 weeks old ,,it would probably become a good pet and very tame ,,,as long as its eating and drinking,,it should be ok

some nice coloured ones ,, tame,, and seeing babies just hatching,, handling them ay 2 to three weeks, should alleviate any fright of them ,, have a home help once a week [wont clean the loft though ;D] terrified of birds ,[hated them ] now shes fine, seeing the nice white ones ;D petting them , whilst im handling them , seeing newly hatched babies with the shell still there, hearing the tapping of the unborn chick
