Having said all this, please understand there will be good hard working official all round the country,who tirelessly give there time for free. It is not to them, but to the way we or they make decisions in the name of our sport. There is a good chance many of the official, feel just as trapped as us all.

We can now vote electronically in an election of Government, so why not on the election of office bearers with in our sport. The list of things in need of change is endless and it would take a comprehensive examination, to scrap at the surface,of our problems but we got to start somewhere. This is something most will know off. It has happened in most areas,and will continue to happen, due to lack off clear leadership,and direction, from those in power above club level. Rab Smith

Don,t disagree with any off the above. However sure many will agree the club radius,s are more often than not. (Lost for words). Say "round on the map" they are very often shaped to suit. This is unacceptable in this day and age.Federations and Unions know this is going on and has done for years. This sport need dragged in to the future, and not until we have resolved some of the fundamental problem, can we truly turn our attention, to a co ordinated plan for increasing our numbers. Yeah. I was saying earlier pjc taking this further, the Union should designate Federation areas, and the Fed in turn should do the same for Clubs. Rab

pjc , The power to include or exclude should not lie at club level. The sport from this point of view need a complete over hale. the choice of which club should lie with the fancier,within reason of course. Clubs draw up their own radius,this should be dictated at fed or even union level. Now I am away off on one. politics in our sport is not democratic due to lack off interest due to apathy.
