Some photo's of the great night, where over 60 fanciers and guests attended. We had a huge buffet to start with followed by the presentation of trophies and certificates, by guest of honour Cath Jarvis. Cath and husband Mel recently received the Annie Bowes trophy in recognition for all their hard work done for the benefit of the racing pigeon sport. Our raffle had over 20 prizes and to help fill the dance floor we had a local boy, do the disco. This is what its all about, everyone had a fantastic night and look forward to it being an annual event. Fancier of the year Jock Brockie. Jock Thomson Presentation table Wullie and Joe Stark

I was there Carol, for the first time in my short racing pigeon life. Quite quiet but started to get busier. Well done to all who made the effort in making the show possible. Will be marking it on the calendar for next year.

Congratulations Jocky King, great fancier and well deserved.
-
I must agree with you Derek, a really good night again. Good to see you behaved for once ;D ;D well done to all who took part in the challenge and the exchange. At my table was Stuart Maskame, George Taylor, Irvine Buchan, Chris Donaldson, Robbie Higgins, Roy Ingram, Tony Rigby, Dave McDougal and Gibby Reid, brilliant company.

Chuffed to bits for the boys. great credit to all who helped, and hope the partnership starts where they left, at the top.
-
Hope you all have a nice time.

-
Well done Graham always nice to hear stories like yours, alex.

We all need to pull in the same direction with the goal making the sport stronger in hard times. We also need to respect other peoples views, and not berate anyone as is all too often at times. ps this is my opinion only

I used to use dougie and mooks trailer regular when i was at my last club, and its perfect in every way. I,ve also towed the trailer to the liberation point on a few occations and again had no problems with it what so ever. The guys have done a great job for all who used it, its a pity there wasnt more support for them but thats everyones choice. it,ll do the job perfect nice pics chic.

Well done Blaz and helpers, you are a credit to our great sport. Having been through this myself, it is humbling to see the support that we all show. i,m sure the boys will be over the moon, again well done to you all, alex.

It doesnt matter if you know them or not, they get exactly what they are looking for, and that is attention. For as long as we let these thugs run our country, we will see more and more of this. It rips my heart open to hear of such events, having been through it myself, and it makes it worse knowing that they will NEVER receive the punishment that fits. We will all be looking at helping them rebuild, one way or the other, just as i did. All the best to the partnership, you are not alone, alex.
-
I would say yes, let them go through this stress (moult), before rehousing them, as that will be stressfull as well.
-
I personally would wait till they are through the moult so that they arent stressed out by to much. When i moved house last year, they checked, and it wasnt till this year that they caught up by throwing 2 flights at a time. only my opinion but i would wait a few more weeks

Just spoke to Stuart he reckons clint has done it again, and that you are in before him. Well done.

All the best to you all. Bit chilly at the moment in Fife, and no change from Harrys weather report.

Lochgelly Homing Society is having a presentation night in November this year. I think its an important part of the club, to socialise and have a get together. We have 15 members, who are asked to bring their wife/partner, plus another couple. 60 being the total for the adequate hall that we have booked. We are having a buffet and disco, along with the presentation. Long may it continue, onwards and upwards .
