  5. Am i a happy boy or what. After the time i have had recently, what with arson attack last year, moving house because of it, moving job and restarting pigeon racing. And more recently losing a very good friend of mine from Peterhead, Arthur Buchan. I was first club today from Witton Castle 117 miles. In Arthurs memory i will be naming the young hen "Arthurs Lass". What an emotional day its been. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha ;D ;D Its a pity he wasnt here to see it, but he sure was there in spirit

    Good luck to all
  7. concentrate on your own team, and dont bother about others. As mentioned before its the on-form birds that will win not numbers, and you will have a better chance at keeping a small team in order, than that of a big team. imo.
  8. again i,m sickened and saddened to hear of yet another mindless act. all the best mate, hope you get up and running soon.
  9. ;D ;D My isnt norwich moving with the times, flash beggers. We.re still using fingers here ;D ;D
  10. When you strike the clocks off, before you remove them from the base station, you synchronise them and it adds all the birds recorded onto a result. I find it very good. It gives you an instant result. We have members who have manual clocks, and they can be added to the result too. It explains how to do it in the manual which you can download from the unikon web site.
  11. Bit of a stiff wind for oor bairns, but hopefully will stand them in good stead, the further they get down the road.
  12. Just my bad typing mate they are identical on the result. inspector morse ;D ;D is he no deed ;D

  16. I,m fare chuffed today. I was 7th last week, and 6th this week so we are making progress Still got a lot of catching up to do, and what with giving a 3 mile over fly away every week its pretty hard, but hey its a challenge eh.

  18. 17/21 from otterburn, hope to see the others tomoro, and then will be having words ;D ;D
  19. Will be Gary, bloody frustrating. good job we can delete the positions that you dont need.
  20. Well this is new to me. Done the result today as i have been doing for 2/3 years. And the strangest thing happened. The result looked like this: 1. j brockie su 09 f 6908 16:47:41 02:17:41 1028.011137 80/740 2. w stark su o9 f 6908 16:47:40 02:17:40 997.89899 77/13 How the hell can the same bird be recorded under 2 different members????? W starks first pigeon was timed in at 17:06:31. It gave the same bird, and the same time, but gave the velocity to suit the members correct distance. Any sensible suggestions are welcome. I claim to know a fair bit about the ets and enjoy using it, however i will be forced into seeking unikon advice on this one.
  21. Thats what i do to.
  22. I got my first bird back in the stray basket, complete with ets ring. So a big thanks to the person who gave this pigeon a second chance, and being a true fancier, not a thief.
