Racing has been a strange one for us fifers. we had an east wind from wakefield and was won in the furthest club east (st andrews) and the velocity was 1800+. It had been blowing a gale up there all day, so was a cracking race for The winner John Harkess. You never can tell, i know with the north in it, will make it that bit harder, time will tell.

3/3. the last race for me till the young birds. started with 26 broken yearlings, ended up with 14. Not too bad at least i know what i,ve got to work with next year.

I,ve just had a non-fancier contact me thinking this was my bird. The bird was found dead in Carron, whilst walking his dogs, and the guys name is Chris from Cumbernauld. I think it was a great gesture for him to try and find the owner, does anyone have the real owners details please, as i dont have any records from the past. Thank you, alex.

No leaks on my 2, and i,m very happy with them and also the service i received from all at blakes. I,ve coated one 12ft x 6ft loft and will be doing the other 18ft x 6ft in the next couple of weeks.

11 out of 13 broken yearlings with Fife Fed from Ripon 155 miles 1487 yards. Our winning velocity was 1436.482

Done. as of yet i,m not aware that unikon has informed everyone of the update and why its required. I think they dont want to highlight any problems, but clearly they have had problems and clearly they have found the problem (well lets hope so anyway). As i said before thee problems should be found and rectified in the close season and not in the middle, seems to be happening on a regular basis. All the best for all, alex. I,ve downloaded the champ update, and updated our clubs system, my clock and my base station, with no apparent problems. Thats me just recalled the clubs clocks yet again and will do them. God help Unikon if this goes pearshaped this weekend, and on the other hand well done if they have managed to rectify the problem.

Unikon need to clarify what the update is for and IF it is needed by everyone.

There should only be an update out of season. This carry on having to update clocks whilst the season is under way is ludicrous. I,ve tried to help the systems in Fife, and was left frustrated and annoyed at the amount of problems that resulted in the clocks being updated. Why does Unikon insist on putting unnecessary pressure on people during the racing season ( as they did last year), when they should be testing the updates out of season. To say that people who have the unikon system are getting annoyed, is an understatement. Time to get a grip NOW.

Cant get much closer without winning brian well done. I was 7th with my broken yearlings and took a hammering . Still waiting on 11 out of 17 and thats my lot. May stop the ones i have.
