Last day today for entry into the Xmas race. A few have said they are entering and haven’t turned up yet so don’t miss the boat as it’s the same rule for everyone,with no exceptions.

Every fed should buy a dozen of these, or better still, the unions buy them and trial them in all the areas they cover.

Roland, Novo is a top notch Scottish fancier with many, many top results from all distances, club,fed and national. I feel ye could be getting kidded on here a wee bit .

Ok folks ,we need to get our money in to see who's all going. Don't leave it til the last minute because I might pull the plug on it before that if we don't seem to be getting the numbers. This was a great race last year, the prizes were all spread out and it was a complete success. Willie Strang now stays in View Park and will collect any entries around that area , hes usually in after 12 noon. He stays at 6 Willow place, Viewpark G715BX. Cheers, Del

Only a few days left and no money paid in yet. I reckon we need 30 folk entering to make it worthwhile and the same as last year.

I lost out on Reims and the yb national and gained in Ypres and ob Buckingham, I agree m8 , it works both ways but the likes of Ian Ross's positions not getting a ticket is diabolical. Remember, its me that's saying to get it back to what it was. Put it this way, if I wasn't flying pigeons their wouldn't be a section H and that's f kin pathetic and the wrong road to go down, don't you agree? The bottom line is, if its status quo, 4 sections or reverting back to the original way, i'll be at EVERY national and hopefully competing regardless.

On another note, id have texting your bird in instead of phoning it in. Id have central marking for the Gold cup and id have SNFC on facebook with updates, videos, liberations etc.

Correct Brian, Ian Ross had one of the best races in Roye and was 26th and 48th open and didn't get a sect prize. Unbelievable that a fancier has a super race and can't get a prize in his section because of lack of birdage. The same thing has cost me diplomas in Reims and the yb national, its a complete disgrace imo. Revert back to the original section or have 4 sections again.

Correct, it set a presidence that could fk the national. As I said before, where does that stop, members in section B tried to start a section H before because of Billy Bilsland. It was shot down immediately and frowned upon. Why was it different last year ?

It should revert back to sect E and F only. H was put in place in order to fk up Glasgow members and was based on postcodes. Their was a postcode proposal shot down and thrown out immediately before it so how on earth section H went through, nobody knows.It should’ve been thrown out immediately after the proposer mentioned a fliers name and that they didn’t want to fly against him. Where the hell does that stop!!!!It should revert back to the way it was , it’s the only way you can readjust the sections.

You beat me to this post Davy. I was at this dinner and he was very believable. The mans a blowhard and a typical lying politician.

First things first. Every fed has to rethink their programs OR act in another way to save the sport. If neither of these things are done then we, the pigeon fancy, do not want the sport to last. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS !!!

Not forgetting Big Tommy McDonough, who stepped up to the top table and by all accounts has done a sterling job as vice pres. He also worked tirelessly verifying most of the west section doos, the downside was him eating his bodyweight in mint club biscuits every time he verified my doos, lol. Well done big man, hope ye stay involved with the SNFC for many years.
