  10. I have been in contact with David Jones , a fancier in north Wales and he says there are loads of Scottish pigeons down there. In fact , he has 5 or 6 himself in his aviary. He didnt catch the pigeons to get the ring numbers for me but spotted one of them in aviary and it was SU07L17095 CH WF. I asked him if he could circulate an email around all the club secretaries so we can arrange a collection for all these birds. He will get back to me tomorrow regarding this. My plan is to get these ( hopefully Messac birds ) collected in the next week and then we can get them home. The cost will be split between everyone, equally. Cheers, Derek Hay

  13. Straight east of you is Motherwell and Bonkle. Yer doos come straight out of Tam Richardsons lol
  14. I got 4/4 yearlings fae Marlborough, 3/4 Eastbourne and 0/2 Ypres, so you can guess who voted Ypres
  15. I would fk half a dozen of these ybs into Clermont, they ve had the training lol
  16. Guess whos been training their ybs like fk
  17. LOL,
  18. Aye , that is simple but what we are trying to determine is if Glasgow should be in section E Or Falkirk in section D.
  19. THE FURTHER EAST AND SOUTH EAST YOU GO, THE EASIER IT IS IN YOUR SECTION. Thats a fact, no bull sh.. that you hear from guys that sit in these positions. Maybe we could learn something from the North of Scotland fed, who use a breaking point when working out their results. Could this be implemented into the SNFC??????Food for thought
  20. Frank, its not *expletive removed* simple, I wish it was. This has been a topic every year in the SNFC and if ye think about it, ye cant please everybody. If you start moving things about you will lose members and my feelings are, your better leaving things alone although, in sect E, the likes of Newbiggin in the long races and Denny in the short have a penalty kick on us.We have to grin and bare it im afraid.
  21. This is my point exactly, you take Kirky area out of sect F and then you have Glasgow sitting in the best part of sect F. Do you then move them into sect E and so on, and so on
  22. Its been a pain in the *expletive removed* for the SNFC for years Lewis. It doesnt matter what you change, someone will benefit and someone wont.Thats why there wont be any changes to the existing sections, it will cause to much hassle. My thoughts are this, the sections have to be divided from south east to north west because thats the way the country lies, therefore sections would be West ( Ayrshire Renfrewshire down to Port Glasgow ) mid West (Hamilton down to Kirkintilloch and East Kilbride to Johnstone ) Mid section ( Newbiggin to Camelon Lesmahagow to Slammanan) Mid east ( East Calder to Stirling and West Lothian ) East ( As it is at present without Mid east ) South and North stay the same. So say this was implemented, you would now have folk complaining about not being in a good bit and vice versa so that is the reason nothing will or can change in the SNFC boundaries imo.
  23. Yip, Geddes and co have ripped to P*** oot it
  24. Actually 2004, the section you were in at that time is the section you fly.All this came about because of Scott Gibson flying in sect D and E
  25. Myself and Hoody are in section E because we were not allowed back into the Glasgow fed. There has to be favourable and unfavourable positions in all sections.Glasgow area is favourable in sect F but unfavourable in sect E.Camelon is favourable in sect E but not in sect D . The longer fliers may have advantage in races up to 250 miles and then the further you go the shorter fliers have the advantage, it also helps the further east your loft is.
