  11. Why not buy 2 x second hand Geraldys and stop this amateur pi sh.If they last 10 years then I reckon thats the time the sport has left so why not give the doos the best for the remainder of it.The biggest fed in Scotland should have the best and ye have the money for it in the bank. You could also hire them out to the SNFC, making a few quid back.

  13. If it is bumble foot, baytril alone won't cure it. The wound will need to be opened the pus cleaned out. Bird pus is different from the kind of pus we get with a wound...bird pus is thick like cottage cheese. It doesn't just come to a head and flow out. The foot may need to be cleaned out several times while the bird is on baytril. As odd as it seems, most don't understand that about bird pus and it seems the vet doesn't either. Find yourself a vet that understands birds and hopefully this one will be okay.
  14. Usually happens to birds of prey Colin but ive experienced it in pigeons, slight bacterial infection causes it but nothing to worry about.
  15. THATS BAD LUCK M8, I HATE THAT HAPPENING TO BIRDS TRAINING GOING TO THE MAIN EVENT

  19. Im sure Peter will take the time to tell us the facts from start to finish .The treatment to the controllers was unforgivable.
  20. Do you honestly think that will happen Mav?? The time the AGM comes around folk have forgotten and dont give a fk.It shouldve been dealt with by the committee, but wasnt.
  21. Ye know , its a very funny thing. Not one person has blamed the race controller this year on the west route. He got plenty of stick on the east route.I said this to Jim Hannah, the west is best for a controller because if its a bad race the controller never gets the blame. Its the route or the hawks or the weather. It seems to me its the best route to be a controller, lol ye never are wrong. That in itself tells you how bad the route is jmo
  22. lol
  23. Thought Tam had a good race until I saw this, well done Peter Murphy
