It happens all over Brian,they also have a stamp on the pigeons wing that has to be quoted by the fancier when phoning in. Ye see , its all about security in other nationals. Their was a pigeon in Holland that won the national but the guy was late phoning it in so it was disqualified, but unbelievably, the bird won the same national the following year. It was called Jaapi. lol

I think we should phone our pigeon in with our time and distance and like other nationals in the UK, we can have a run down of whos winning the national.As birds are phoned in the result changes, not a difficult thing to set up imo.

All depends on wind, drag and first birds timed m8.Dont exactly know how it would work but I defo know it would level things up a wee bit, but you will never get it 100% fair.

If its had plenty of training a yb will fly 150 miles for its first race, no problem, look at the guys in Eyemouth. I would rather start them at 70-90 miles and give them most races.
