I have a decent pigeon reported in Norway from the Ypres race.Anyone any ideas how I get it back? That's 600 miles of water straight up from Ypres to Frekhaug Norway, expletive remove it must have travelled 1000 miles as that is surely impossible to fly that of water.

One thing for sure, the wee national seem to be getting better races than us, whether its anything to do with using Geraldy, I don't know, but im sure it helps.

Remember I was the west section convenor Bobby and I can tell you this, there weren't 20 birds in a crate/basket for the channel races.I made sure of it m8.

Bobby, theres no way there were 20 put in the Ancensis baskets, so it is down to common sense m8. The secretary or transport manager should determine how many go in a basket , with previous birdages taken into account. 20 is the maximum and this should rarely be used .

A lot say its a sign of weakness but thats not true, Ive had real champion pigeons with droop tail feathers.

Common sense will prevail here im sure. Im sure the SNFC transport manager will let the convenors know whats needed AND HOW MANY TO PUT IN BASKETS.

I luv all races, any distance yb or ob. The only thing is,I haven't owned any birds bred for sprint/middle distance races for many years but I hope to correct that soon.
